Since I'm creating this blog to share news with friends, most of you know me already : )

Where am I in life?

• I am thirty-two years young (I LOVE my birthdays - every one!).
  
• I am a registered dietitian and have a master's degree in business; yet, most of my professional experience has been devoted to youth development work (my low-paying passion).
• I am married to Greg -- a smart, patient, determined man with whom I've had an amazing 9-1/2 year relationship [Man! We were practically *babies* when we started out!!].

• And, most importantly, while the student loans are calling my name for re-payment, I am currently staying home to care for our beautiful almost-18-month old daughter, Kaia Lillian, and awaiting the arrival of our second baby girl, Laila Avalon (due Jan. 08, 2009).

**I wanted to post pictures of our dogs, Kentucky Pibbles ("Tuck") and Abbey Road ("Abbey"), but I can't find a good one quickly. I also thought about posting an ultrasound picture of Laila, but the ones I have aren't the best either (For Kaia, it was obvious that she looked just like her Daddy when we got her last u/s.) In any case, more pictures may be coming soon. For now, I need to get Kaia up from her nap - which means no more computer time for Mommy!**
